Ultimate Rehab

About Us/Staff

Passion. Expertise. Quality.

History

Kassimir Physical Therapy was founded in 1997 by Gary D. Kassimir, PT, MS, CHT.  Gary received his master’s degree in physical therapy from Long Island University in 1987, and earned a specialized certification in hand therapy in 1998.

With extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, hand rehabilitation, custom splinting, aquatic and sports rehabilitation, Gary's expertise has shaped his professional vision, which he describes as “Ultimate Rehab”. This vision includes a comprehensive, thorough, and engaging approach to physical therapy. Gary’s vision is closely followed by all clinical and administrative staff.

Many of the area's best physicians refer their patients to Kassimir Physical Therapy with confidence that they will achieve their highest functional potential in a comfortable and skilled environment.

Throughout the treatment experience, each patient will receive personalized care from our physical therapists, as well as dedicated assistance in all aspects of the recovery process from our caring staff.  Our large volume of patient referrals and satisfied returning patients are a testament to the quality of care the "Ultimate Rehab" experience provides.

At Kassimir Physical Therapy, we fully appreciate that the quality of our patients' lives depends on our dedication and expertise, and it is our commitment to provide each patient with the exceptional care they need to maximize their rehabilitation potential.

Comprehensive Evaluation

Each patient’s first visit to Kassimir Physical Therapy will involve an in-depth initial evaluation performed by one of our physical therapists. The evaluation begins with a detailed history and physical exam, which includes specialized tests and measurements relevant to each patient’s condition. Based on the evaluation, the therapist will develop an individualized treatment plan and establish therapeutic goals based on the patient's needs and the referring provider’s recommendations.

Our Personalized Programs

Kassimir Physical Therapy offers a variety of clinically proven treatments coupled with the latest technology and equipment to help each patient achieve their rehab goals.  Our clinic boasts a state-of-the-art gym and the most advanced, effective custom splinting available. With a focus on manual therapy and individualized exercise programs, KPT has consistently provided patients with successful rehabilitation.
